Fondant Pansies
How-To... Perfect Fondant Pansies
Step 1
Work your fondant into 5 round balls, all the same size & color; 3 small oblong pieces of a contrasting color; and 1 small ball of a contrasting color
Step 2
Place one ball under wax paper...
and press.
You now have one perfect petal. Repeat once more so you have a total of 2 petals so far.
Step 3
Arrange your two petals like so. These will make the top of your pansie.
Step 4
Place 1 oblong piece on top of your ball. Make three of these.
Step 5
Repeat step 2 by placing ball with oblong piece under a folded edge of wax paper and press to make your petal. Do this 3 times to get 3 final petals.
Step 6
Arrange your contrasting petals like so...
placing all 5 petals together.
Final Step
Place the small round ball in your contrasting color in the center and...TADAH! You have a perfect fondant pansie!
